As the rotor continues to turn, the compartments decrease in volume, compressing the gas, which is then expelled through the outlet port. The pump is typically oil-sealed, with the oil providing lubrication, cooling, and enhanced sealing to ensure efficient operation. This continuous cycle of suction, compression, and discharge generates a steady flow of gas, making the pump suitable for various industrial and laboratory applications.
